This morning we were up early and ready to go back to the Center. By 9:00 we met Trinh and her friend and headed to the Center. Levi was in his walker again when we got there. Trinh tried to get him to come towards us n the walker but he just kept pushing backwards. I got him out and they put a mat on the floor so that we could play with him there. We pulled out some of the toys and tried to get him to smile. We could tell he wasn't as tired today. He did start to get a little fussy and the caregivers brought in a bottle. He wasn't too interested in it but rather wanted to be held. What was really neat today was that two of the caregivers were so good about sitting next to me and showing me some of the things they do to get him to smile and laugh or to calm him down. We got to hear some great giggles out of him today and found out in the process that he has 4 teeth on top as well as the 2 on the bottom. I got to feel those teeth as he bit down on my finger. I'll have to be a little more careful about that. Yesterday he was fascinated with granpa's sunglasses. Today grandpa tried to put them on him. He couldn't do it very well but the caregivers did. He even left them on pretty goo. When grandpa tried to put them on the other little boy, he backed away. It was funny because he acted as if he wanted to try them on but when the opportunity came, he changed his mind. We were there nearly 2 hours and at the end, he was getting tired but just didn't want to give in. Eventually, one of the caregivers showed me where to lay him down and showed me some of the things they do with him to get him settled down. He just looked up at me as if to say, "Please take me out of here!" It was difficult to walk away. But, I left there knowing what a wonderful job these women have done taking care of my little guy the first 8 months of his life. They are so good with the children. I will be forever grateful to them for their love and care until I could come. I pray that God will bless them richly!

Oh Tracy he's adorable!!! I have tear-filled eyes right now because I'm so happy you are finally there, and get to bring him home. Congratulations!! He looks happy and content to finally be in your arms.
I woke in the middle of the night wondering if I should check your blog again. So excited to read your updates.
Your boy is too gorgeous for words. And the look on your face tells it all. Grandpa? Well, he's a gonner! You can tell he's completely taken with this little guy!
Glad Levi's caretakers have been helpful and have given you some great information for his transition into his new home. It will be nice not to have to flounder to find the right ways to do things for him - the things he's used to.
Can't wait to hear that you are finally officially a family. I know you are in your heart. But it will feel SOOOO good to have it all completed, I am sure. Let Forever Begin!!!! :)
